Anyone’s input does well, I think. Just being very stompish or extreme may turn a person away from their thoughts on the forums. It’s hard to be told things that may shatter when they just seem so real you know? I believe my spirit is going grey with all the turmoil and powerlessness I feel from this illness. I have to keep going, and enrich myself…be vitalized!
I have no problem with atheists and unbelievers when they speak their mind. the Bible says unbelief will increase and they will fight against the truth. So when i hear atheists speak they are only validating what the Spirit says in scripture even moreso.
they also at times offer thought provoking questions which will lead me to do research and find evidence to refute their erroneous claims.
Even Darwin questioned his own theory of evolution, a false doctrine that many think is totally proven. Evolution is not proven and is filled with holes and gaps, some that Darwin himself even questioned often.

But, atheists will cling to evolution as fact regardless of the real fact that it is just an unproven theory about where living beings came from.
Show me where raptor dinosaurs ‘evolved’ from? You can’t. They argue whether ancient birds came first or the raptors. Both had feathers. they suddenly spring up in the fossil record with brains much larger than their contemporaries. No link whatsoever is found connecting them to some evolutionary development from something else. there is a massive gap. It cannot be explained by evolution theory. same goes for modern humans. many missing links claimed in the past were proven to be either a type of ape, or a hoax built from a couple bones, one of which was a pig tooth!
What baffles me is atheists still cling to evolution despite these discrepancies .

Maybe someone’s wondering if they’ll experience this in their (next life) perhaps…I dunno. I mean the illness that is.
Mjseu asked if the soul exists. It opens up a topic for discussion. people are going to believe or not and speak accordingly. Profound discussion is good as it causes people to think.
If we are going to censor and lock everything that begins to hint at any form of spirituality, then it serves no good purpose either. many have already expressed their disatisfaction with thread locking, many more than just myself.
Also, shutting people off to discussions they feel important cuts off an outlet (the forum) which people use to express themselves. Some people who don’t go out very much rely on the forums, so to shut them off wouldn’t be good.

do you ever question your belief in God? i think one should explore both sides like star wars “to embrace a larger view of the force”
even if this is true, i still like to turn a blind eye to that and just look at human life as a beautiful experience rather than as a cog in the wheel so to speak

This soul thinking is very old, but as science develops we discover new things and we do not rely any more on the old ways of thinking, even Einstein said that the God exists, I believe that the God can read our brain waves and each word in our mind has a certain brain wavelet and so we do not need to pray aloud in order to be understood by the God, but it is in our mind, no soul.
Many people addressed the issue that our mind energy does not disappear after we die, but I think that our body generates this electricity that is vital for our thinking and functioning, but as we get old and die, the generation of this electricity just stops and then there is no electricity source to keep us thinking. So energy does not disappear anywhere, but the generation just stops and this does not stay on the earth after our death. So no soul remains after our existence stops.
I repeat, “energy cannot be created or destroyed” therefore our “brain waves” leave the body. You say they just fizzle, I say they go to either Heaven or Hell. I’m not arguing per say, that’s just my opinion. Perhaps Malvok is right. Trying to discuss things like souls is like talking politics …bad idea.

Perhaps Mavlok is right, but this discussion has brought up many good issues, I believe that there is no Heaven nor Hell after the death and no soul goes anywhere, we live on the earth and hopefully do good things and these remain after us and are remembered by our loveones.

I awoke one night and sat up straight in bed as this ball of super bright, white light floated a few feet from my face.
There were these words, “I’m all right now, I’m where I need to be, It’s okay now”
Whether spoken or thought, I don’t remember how the words were received by me. I accepted the words, shrugged my shoulders and said “oh, okay then” and the ball of light went out and I dropped back down and fell asleep as quickly as I had been awakened. There was a very vivid dream that followed, and I was still shaking several hours later at work thinking about it.
I got a call from my mom, telling me her sister, my aunt that had been a large part of my life, had died in a car accident in the night.
The details of her accident fit with the dream, the only difference was in the dream it was my mother in the accident.
I believe in the soul without question.
I was in the ICU unit after a near fatal attempt on my life, and have experienced things in there that also cement my belief in the soul.
No one can take your soul from you, it wont leave you and cannot be transfered unless you yourself has sold it.

I have many times. I don’t question the existence of God, but some things attributed to God.
Strangely you didn’t know that just in the one month prior to me being born again after hearing Jesus speak to me, I had journeyed deep by mind and had come to the realization of The Force that permeated the entire universe. I could only imagine it was impersonal, albeit powerful (which could be theoretically used as light side and dark side, like the StarWars Force). I believed any deities were local to their respective regions or planets, and that they simply tapped into the universal Force.
Along with this revelation I also postulated that darkness is greater than light because darkness always surrounds light no matter how much light shines. Light may push back darkness and be seen thousands of light years distance as stars, but the stars in space are all surrounded by darkness and the darkness takes up more volume than the light. However light is stronger than darkness because it so easily drives the envelope of darkness back when illuminated, no matter how small or weak the light.
This revelation came along with the revelation of the Force.
Jesus Christ spoke to me and said he was the one I could turn to, and the embodiment and intelligence of the Force I had discovered.
