Welcome back naturally cured.
Good to see you.
Having stability does feel great I reckon.
Stability financially to afford bills , food , living etc and stability of sanity and peace .

Hi @Truemist8, good to see you too.
Spirituality health inner peace.
" But madnessāserious mental illnesses like bipolar disorder and schizophreniaāat least partly eludes the easy correlation between class and health. The qualification partly is necessary, for poverty can exacerbate (and maybe even bring about) ravages of the mind. So, however, can wealth."
I like to have enough money that I can do the things I enjoy. I like to eat fresh produce. I like to be able to afford the toys I need to be creative. I like to wear clothng that works for what I do outside. I like to travel to interesting places to hike. You need money for that. Iāve been homeless without money and it sucked. Iām not interested in obscene wealth, but there is a minimum a person needs for an acceptable quality of life.
For me as long as I have enough money as to not have to worry about it, I am happy.
I work and earn enough to achieve this.
So yes, it buys happiness, but itās not the only thing.
To me family is important, and I like being creative. I gave up a well paid job to do something more practical. Partly due to illness, but my work now makes me a lot happier than I was before
Its a lot easier to be happy with a comfy mattress, a warm home, plenty of nice clothes, good food, etc. How will you aquire those things without money?
Money may not be able to satisfy your ever desire but it comes pretty close in my experience.
Money doesnāt buy happiness. Itās what you do with your money that does.
Iāve lived in poverty and Iāve lived in relative riches. I was unhappy in poverty not because of the lack of money, but because my husband was abusive.
Now, I live in unquestioned abundance and Iām happy. Not because of the money, but because my wife loves me and we adore each other and treat each other good.
There arenāt a lot of material possessions that I covet. Most people set great store in having possessions, but I donāt, and I think I am happier.
Iāve never really been āupā so to speakā¦been paycheck to paycheck my whole life.
I donāt think a big whack of dough would change me though. I still enjoy thrift shopsā¦that thrill of the treasure hunt!
