I got a friend that I havnt seen sense my break. They told me I look nothing like I used to… this kinda bothers me. So yeah does that happen?

Sz tends to make you fatter because of the meds and Avolition. I don’t think it changes your appearance other than that.

That’s not it I’m 140 lbs 5,9 so I’m rather skinny. Idk why it bothers me so much… vanity? @Bowens

I guess because you are afraid your mental illness changed your appearance in a detrimental way.

I think it changes your body language and facial expressions, I feel less alive and more like a zombie indifferent to the environment. Yea its apathy, lack of emotions.

Yeah most likely anyway haha. Kinda think everyone has a symptom they Handle better than others and vice versa.
Yeah symptoms and side effects of meds too. I’ve been dealing with some of mine pretty well, others have more problems with them.

Do you know how common it is to have vivid* visual hallucinations? Because I get them all the time and they rarely even register to me as scary or something to worry about. And I’ve heard people say things like visuals are unbearable, etc. @anon84461028

I don’t get visual hallucinations, I’ve had them before when I was a kid, so I kind of know what they are like but I mostly get paranoia, delusions, disorganization

I don’t think the illness changed how I look, but my old med I was on made me fat and that did change a little how I look, both my face and body. People have made comments on how I look better now that I have lost over 75lbs.

That’s good. I actually lost about 50 pounds in the last 2 months also. I firmly believe seroquel is an evil drug. It makes everything worse In my case and it made me gain 80 pounds in one month. Went from 115 to about 185, I’m in somewhat decent shape again tho and I’m at 140. Anyway grats on the weight loss my friend
