Hmm ok I kinda got all the above but I tell myself they’re more mild if you have more symptoms. I was jw how common it was to see things in detail that arnt there. @anon84461028
For me it was Olanzapine
Never taken that one. I’ll put it on my yeeeeeet list
Is it beach tan…I find I’m always white on meds.
Man I’m white af and irish I don’t tan, I just get freckles lmaooo @AndrewJohn
I look like a sane, functional guy rocking a middle-age dad bod. I don’t look crazed or crazy at all. I manage to fit in fine with neurotypicals when I need to.
If so, it’s only made me cuter
That’s a good answer. I ask because I recently talked to an old ehh idk what to call her. Guess I’ll just say gf. She didn’t recognize me what so ever @anon2818416
Dad bods are in bro @anon82948922
Meds made me much fatter.
Seroquel did that. But I stopped taking it and lost all the weight in like 2-3 months. What med did it to you? @anon40973946
The worst weight gain was on Risperadol, the first drug I was put on. Then I was switched to Abilify, and I lost a bit of weight. I got diabetes and went on two drugs for that, and they’ve helped me lose 35 lbs. I’m down to 200 lbs now, instead of 235 lbs.
I’m aiming to get down to 160 lbs (a normal weight for me).
Your story is very similar to mine. I was up to 240lbs for a long time, I developed diabetes and am on 2 meds for that, one, called Forxiga, helped me lose some weight. I finally switched to a different antipsychotic and lost more weight, I am now around 164lbs and a healthy weight according to the BMI.
Good luck with your weight loss goals!
Damn gave you diabetis? I’m sorry… risprodal or how ever y oh spell it made me start to grow tits… the same way a pubescent girl does… it went away within a week of taking it but yea. Shots weird @anon40973946
I used to be good looking before meds. Not anymore.
It was the same way with my son who was p.sz. Before meds, he was absolutely beyond movie star handsome. Everyone said so. After meds, he became just average good looks. Very sad.
Yeah kinda hurt me when she said I was unrecognizable. @SkinnyMe but I’m far from vain so it’s w.e lol
And if you think you think you’re not good looking anymore @SkinnyMe it might just be in your head
I know I’ve actually looked in the mirror and thought who tf is that.
Well I can’t say that I care about my looks anymore. After my break and with the meds, recovery has been far more important. I don’t have any energy to work out nor take care of myself. I’ve also aged at a rapid rate but that’s because I haven’t done anything of importance since I got sick. Days, weeks, months and years just goes by.
Yeah I aged rapidly as well. Think that just happens sadly @Speedy
I think sometimes it does. At times I look disheveled and raggedy. I try to shave at least once a week and shower daily to not look that way. There are times when I’m in pajamas for two or three days. Generally speaking when I go out, I try to shower and shave beforehand.
