Does anyone take Latuda?

I had my last injection of invega sustenna today. In three weeks my dr. Is starting me on Latuda. Is it a good drug for you? What are your experiences with it? What side effects do you have on it? I keep reading you have to take it with food or it upsets your stomach.

It’s a great med, with little side effects. Great for bipolar depression as well. It’s expensive though so make sure your insurance or disability covers it.

Yes, you have to take it with food. Minimum 300 calories.

I vomit every time I took Latuda unless I take Zofran with it. I was also on Risperdal when I was on Latuda so I’m not exactly sure what it does.

Yeah I got it filled today and the insurance covered it. I looked it up online and keeps saying generic availability is suppose to happen this year. However, it hasnt happened yet.

Risperdal pills made me vomit. I guess I’m a little concerned.

It was a life saver for me. I consider it to be right under Clozapine imo.

For some reason most of my past Aps including that one made me pass out randomly. It’s weird. Invega Sustenna and I think Risperodol were that only ones that didn’t do that to me.

I take a small dose. It helps with negatives but I put on a little weight with it. But most people say it’s weight neutral.
