I read Christine when I was 14. But he switched from telling the story in the first person to the third person very abruptly. Which I thought was a cop out.
So that put me off reading any more of his stuff.

I watched Dark Tower and like it despite it being fairly triggering.
Know it got slated, but I kinda enjoyed it.
I think he’s a creative genius
I havent read the books there is a copy of the shining and dr. sleep in my house but im just terrible at reading books i had loved the movies though my favorites are dr. sleep and it 2017
I have a copy of The Shining too but never got around to reading it either.
I’ve seen the movie many times though. Stephen King famously hated it. I guess it wasn’t what he had in mind when he wrote the book.
It’s not as heard of as much as “The Shining” or “It”, but my first Stephen King book was “The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon”. My aunt gave me a pop-up book for it when I was 6 or 7 and it gave me nightmares, but I still thought it was so cool. Ended up reading the actual novel when I was in middle school but ended up forgetting about it. I might have to read it again.
We read “Different Seasons” in a high school English class, which is a collection of 4 King novellas.
Three of them were adapted into major motion pictures: Stand By Me, Apt Pupil, and Shawshank Redemption.
Ive seen the movie and saw a little bit of the shining 90s mini series thats was supposed to be more like the book but that wasnt so good either not saying the movie is bad.
