Took tae kwon do 5 years ago, but forgot all I learned, I would to learn self defense though. I think it will be very useful.
Taekwondo is awesome. I love martial arts. Dont know any though. For a while I was doing tutorials on youtube.
I took Kung Fu for a few years growing up.
Taekwondo, boxing, and a tiny bit of krav maga
LS! When I was young I did Judo. Occasionally I took a lesson Ninjutsu, Kung Fu, Karate. Twenty five years ago I did aeroboxing for two years and six years ago I did Tai Chi for half a year. I have many DVD´s and books about martial arts.
I did Brazilian Jiujitsu for quite a stretch. I remember most of what I learned. Kind of like riding a bike. I have done the moves a thousand times. My specialty is a good old fashioned effective choke hold.
Tae Kwon Do would be cool. Kumdo would rock. There is a Uechi Karate school not too far from me. I’m considering it.
I’ve been boxing since I was six and then I did MMA by the time I was 14 and now I stick to Muay Thai! I use to teach women’s self defense class back in high school in the YMCA
Yes, a bit.
I’d love to do boxing but I don’t trust any trainers in my area and fear they will come for me. Place is chaotic stupid to some Ppl.
But I did learn off the morning show.
Hard Weapon - Soft Target
Use HARD WEAPON - elbow, wrist bit of palm of hand and knee.
Your elbow is very hard weapon
On a SOFT TARGET nose, throat, eyes, groin, shin
For example palm of hand to nose will break it. Don’t punch or you will hurt yourself as not many Ppl can punch properly.
Finger to eye - hard poke eye gouge
Then run like the wind as fast as you can, get out of there asap.
Also another form of self defence is…
It’s not my fault, problem etc.
Stop projecting, acting out against me.
I find that helps if I’m deep in a persercutory delusion or someone comes for me at “random”
