My diagnosis changes all the time. When I was 22 when I was first diagnosed I received the diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia. 3 years later I was diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder Depression. Recently it’s been Schizoaffective Bipolar. This yrar it’s just Schizoaffective.
Does anybody have this experience?
My Pdoc changes her mind a lot too, I’ve been schizophrenic, psychosis NOS, schizoaffective depressive type.
I’ve learned not to care, I just call it “my brain thing”. The meds are the same, just labels that change.

I’ve been diagnosed with schizoaffective and bipolar over the years.
Like @Ooorgle said, the meds stay the same, so whatever.

I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia for many years then it changed to schizoaffective depressive type

Just plain paranoid schizophrenia diagnosis never changes.
