Up to you. Think we’ve come to the conclusion we’re not very different and I’d never judge someone for a problem they have. Just lmk if I can help @fractaled
I sometimes hear sirens, clocks ticking, crosswalk signals
Will do. Thanks

@Blossom that’s very brave of you to be a driver! I have my license but I don’t drive anymore. I tried once since getting sick and I was definitely a danger on the road.
It’s that bus life for me!
I can’t drive because I go blind constantly… it really sucks and I feel like less of a man because of it. @anon2818416
@Thaze it was definitely a blow to my self esteem, that’s for sure. I was totally dissociated, hearing voices, and I thought that fire hydrants were giving me coded messages. I was so distracted, it just wasn’t safe
For sure same here kinda… I usually disassociate and just turn the wheel. I’ve crashed within the first 5 mins of driving every time I’ve tried @anon2818416
Ha, thanks. I drive, currently, but I’ve had periods (as long as a year) without driving, due to safety / health reasons.
Honestly, I will probably stop driving, permanently, sometime within 20 years from now. IDK. So sometime before age 50.
My mom, who is schizoaffective (like me) should not have a license. She’s in her 50’s. For the last 20 years, she’s been getting worse and worse, in every sense. She gets into crashes multiple times per month. She completely totals her car at least once a year (then gets a new one). I don’t know how she can still have her license???
Basically, what I’m trying to say is that I don’t want to get as bad as her. If I start getting pretty bad, like huge safety issues on the road, I’ll stop driving.
But for now, I’m pretty OK. Hubby would let me know, too, if it was time for me to stop driving.
I hear whistles a lot. I smell bad stuff to, like feces, urine and vomit. Do you?
I’ve had olfactory hallucinations before, yeah. I smelled rotting meat, the voices told me it was the scent of my sins, that I’d never get rid of it no matter how hard I scrubbed. Freaky ■■■■
If i do i dont realise it yet!
I hear music quite often. Different genres. Or sometimes I just hear orchestras tuning up their instruments.
Once i asked for a sign
and i heard a bell ringing 3 times.
Ha.
It was from inside the house
I’ve hallucinated rotten barbeque beef, urine and feces a lot of times before. I smell mold now that no one else can perceive.
On seroquel I heard lots of ambient noises like dogs barking.

Nope, I only heard voices.
I don’t know if this is normal or not, but I could always tell the difference between what was a hallucination and what was real, and I had auditory, visual and tactile hallucinations.
I sometimes hear music, animal cries (cats, dogs, birds), and a ringing tone that’s like a soft, high-pitched “Reeeee” that goes on for some time.
I hear laughter!
