Like the topic states, just wondering if your meds cause you to overheat easily?
I was really hot and sweaty all day at work and I was in air conditioning.
Maybe it’s because I was nervous, idk…

Yes, i rarely used to sweat. Now I end up with sweat marks from my usual walks. Its annoying. I take abilify.

I’m on rexulti, I wonder if that is why.

Both my husband and me are on Lamictal and we both get night sweats from it. I also get overheated very easily, I think that is a Lamictal side effect as well. I need the Lamictal so I just deal with the side effects.

I have to deal with it as well.
Rexulti is the best med I’ve ever been on.
I bought stronger deodorant on the way home.
Supposed to keep me drier.

Yeah I sweat and my whole shirt gets soaked although I do walk in 80 degree weather. Don’t remember sweating that much though

Two of my meds, can’t remember which ones, cause that for me. It’s a catch22. I need the meds, but a higher temp body causes me stress, and makes me more susceptible to panic and psychosis.
I am better with Risperdal since I make sure I don’t drink anything but ice water on hot days.
I read somewhere that risperidone causes you problems in regulating body temperature. I’m cold all the time now.
I feel cold all the time yet my body overheats and I sweat a lot.

It has to be extremely hot for me to feel hot. My kids tell me it’s too hot inside. So then I’ll turn the central air on.
