Does anyone else feel things that aren't real?

So sometimes I feel things that aren’t real. Sometimes it feels like hands or snakes on me. Does anyone else experience this and or have any advice for dealing with it in a manner that doesn’t make you look like a crazy person.

Yes. Usually at night, when I’m trying to sleep.
Sometime, during stressful times I get the feeling of bugs on my skin, and I can’t get rid of them.
Then there’s the people tapping or putting a hand on my arm or shoulder, or the feeling of someone standing so close to me, that I can feel their warmth.

Yeah I get the feelings of someone putting their hands on me too. Have you found anything that helps besides trying to brush or slap them away?

try and splash your face with water then you will feel the water on your skin and it should feel a bit more real x

I never thought of that before. Thanks for the advice I’m going to go give it a try.

I get a lot of tactiles. In public it can be really scary because I’ll feel people touching me or bumping into me or just weird sensations that I don’t know what they are. At home I keep a back scratcher next to my seat so I can replace the ■■■■■■ feeling with something more real. I find that scratching/slapping the area often sort of “resets” my nerves to stop the feelings.

I don’t go out in public often, but when I do I probably just look like I have dry skin or something. I’m constantly scratching and adjusting.

I feel things touching me often. I feel something trying to force itself inside of me through the back of my head. Like pressure on the back of my head and another head starts to slowly push through my head trying to reach my eyes. Does anyone else feel this?. I also feel it pushing me and shaking me and touching my eyelashes. So annoying.

No, unfortunately not.

I have experienced a lot of tactile hallucinations.

Bugs crawling all over me is my most common. It happens when I’m lying in bed trying to sleep.

Sometimes they bite. It hurts moderately, and is quite annoying.

I’ve felt blood on my hands that wouldn’t wipe off.

Cobwebs on my face that when I tried to wipe them off the got stuck on my hands as well.

Pats on the head, pokes in the back

Drops of liquid falling on me.

What I do to cope is either have a nice bath or do something I love that distracts me.
