Do you think schziophrenia is worse than physcial illness

which is worse…

There’s no use in comparing. Both can be painful and debilitating.

It kind of depends. I think they’re both very frustrating and debilitating in their own way

For me personally a physical illness would be worse.

I would endure a physical illness.
Now with sz and loss of control of yourself, it’s more embarrassing

I think it depends on how severe the sz is versus what type of physical illness it is. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

However, I would prefer sz than being blind

I would choose not to have psysical pain edit yeah shoot i’m wrong again

Be careful what you wish for. I’m content right now with my schizophrenia/bipolar to a certain extent. It could be worse…

I have SZ and cardiac issues. The SZ is generally less of a limitation than the cardiac issues ever have been for me.

I would prefer a physical illness. One that is terminal

My sister has Larsens syndrome. She’s in pain 24/7 and doesn’t like to take painkillers unless she has to.

It would depend on the physical illness but having both a physical disorder and schizophrenia would be worst.

Depends on the illness. Is it worse than the flu? Um yeah. Is it worse than something like multiple sclerosis, which is also a severely debilitating and lifelong disorder? I don’t think you can make judgements like that.

I’m just glad sza is not fatal. I don’t think I could deal with that.

I think physical illness is worse than mental illness. I think that cause my mental illness is mild when it comes to everyday symptoms. My schizophrenia is episodic. And I also think what when one has physical illness it also effects mental health.

I think it totally depends on the illness but you are definitely treated worse when you have a mental illness.

Physical illness can be worse. Intense pain that doesn’t go away can be just as, or more torturous. Also the loss of the ability to move, see, hear, taste, feel, ect, can be more traumatizing. Plus I bet being burned or losing a limb to frostbite can be jarring as well.
