Do you think hallucinations “contain” greater consciousness?

I mean I seldom had intense audio or visual hallucinations

But many times I had an inner voice inside of me controlling me. When I was very psychotic I felt I was punished if I disobeyed it. Sometimes it was rebellious. Must have been some great ID , to go along with the super ego arguing with it?? Ego—-the mediator was out of service. So my super ego and my Id seemed to have some intense battles. But it also seemed like a greater deeper smarter consciousness. But no control of it. Now I think pretty well I have a greater consciousness than I used to naturally. But during psychosis this greater consciousness seemed to come only from hallucinations?? When I was in group I listened to the inner voice. It guided me it seemed and I had no idea how. Now I think it was an inner consciousness. I still get it a little bit but feels more natural/controlled now. Probably similar to normies in this according to people everyone has this. But a neurotypicals isn’t out of whack.

So people who regularly hear voices do you think these hallucinations are stealing your deepest thoughts/paranoias and stuff , saying them to you in voices. But Is it something deeper?? Not saying it’s good. But Is that where we think it comes from.

by deeper, do you mean going off on the deep end?

not sure.

I know I kept my humor all thru psychosis. It saved me from taking my life.

Maybe a little off the deep end. I mean remember the first time you were psychotic?? Me neither. But in the beginning you felt like a genius. Then after 4-5 psychosis’s you say it’s just dulling you. You wish for good health again. Fortunately getting that now. But the first few times psychotic felt grandiose all powerful, finding out mysteries of the world. Unbeatable (unbeatable was only once).

I’d place that into the same category as dreams, and whether or not they contain greater consciousness. Dreams would be a safer area to explore probably.

A time always comes around in my cycle where they are nice and harmless, and promise me that everything is going to be okay. It’s in the circle with the days I’m told I’m going to hell and days when I don’t hear anything. The nice ones are so sane they sound like real people, whereas the evil ones are so mean they seem less like people and more like rabid animals. I guess it’s just like having good dreams and bad ones, whatever that means is up for debate.

the broken mind may very well find passages of shining light

I guess there was some for me

I was speaking in tongues.

Whenever someone says greater consciousness in this context it means based on the individuals experience btw. For me, greater consciousness comes from meds. But I saw greater insights in my hallucinations back then than my regular thoughts. When I was off meds.

meds for me means a quiet mind

so I’m no longer in touch with that kind of consciousness

I can still use language, but my mind is controlled now.

I wouldn’t be able to identify what I experienced with hallucinations and dictate it into words if not for my quiet mind from meds. Sometimes less is more. I think so in writing. Less chatter in the mind, you’re still going to be able to dictate words on the paper. They will be more filtered. Well you can filter it as you chose. Easier to know what’s appropriate with a quiet medicated mind for me.

so you try to contain what it was as you see it now?

I think you can do that, maybe successfully, as you have greater insight.

What I notice is sometimes they are spot on. Sometimes they are right. Sometimes they make predictions that turn out to be true. Sometimes they warn me about people right from the very first moment I meet them and I later find out why they warned me about them.

could you please refer an example of prediction-warning ,about a person?? what had warned you about and what happened? i am wοndering about it because sometimes when we chose to believe in that loud thought or voice we automatically turn our behaviour in that way (we are mysterious, even aggressive or having a state with that person the prediction warned us so that in the end the other will treat as in someway we were afraid ofo(he is a human too its normal to react in a weird behaviour in a weird way.) Even more, every one have good and bads , when you communicate with them you find out what you like and what not , you cant aggree with everything . But when you have already a feeling for bad things because some thought or voice told you then it’s may to focus only on the bads of that person and you(and me and everyone) make that voice come real!! If that voice is good maybe we tend to ignore the bads and focus on pros and say “yeah , that voice always right”. I say maybe its we create the reality we afraid of because of the voices !! unconsciously…

I’ve had a voice tell me something I didn’t know, a Punjabi phrase that I don’t remember hearing before, that I had to look up phonetically to translate.

99.99% of the time they just say things I’ve heard before, though.

Interesting theories. Mine were based upon whatever I put my attention on mentally. For example if I looked at the person to the right of me and they touched their leg with their arm, the voice might tell me to copy them. Or say things. Or anything. It just feels like my conscience mind, although it seems like a hallucination because it is completely out of whack!! Is what I propose. I think it’s your conscience on overdrive almost. But I’m not a scientist that’s just based on what I felt.

In therapy, I was able to recognise that one of my more evil voices was the voice of my insecurities.
I think the subconcious take what we need and what we’re dealing with, and splits it into voices.
In her case, she became the voice telling me what I fear others would tell me, so I’d be more prepared when it happens.

I really like this post.

The above is an example of “bicameral mind.” It means two chambered or simply “split.” I personally refer to it as “splittyness,” and it’s normal as in a basic factor in the mind phenomenon like current flows in water bodies is a basic factor in the liquid phenomenon. What’s floating on or mixed in the water can vary though, so in your case your “bicameral splittyness” which is a normal part of the mind phenom was “out of wack.”

Normally people are splitty in a lot of ways. For instance when you look around you and listen too, you don’t think that the world around you is actually you, but it is. You behave as though visual and audio experience was actually 3D reality, but in fact that visual and audio information will never be 3D reality. Instead what it is is a funny representation of 3D reality. It’s information that is of the brain as it attempts to replicate 3D reality somehow. For example there’s no light outside the brain, no colors, no sounds. When you see brighter/dimmer information, color information, and hear sounds, this is your brains way of making information that represents 3D reality outside of you the way that some organs make products, and some make functions, and some make both. Think of the mind information like colored dye the way that your organs produce liquids such as bile and blood.

You’re right hemisphere is known for making the “paradigm” which means that all of the information about how the world seems to work always and normally is rendered out of there. The tendency for humans for 40,000 years is to anthropomorphize the world. In other words they/we tend to “include 3D reality” into our tribes as one of us and mountains, suns, stars, rivers, the sky, clouds, the earth etc.

When they do that, their bicameral splittyness with the world changes strangely. Remember that the 3D world is represented informationously as the mind which is like info color dye made by the brain. How the brain learns the world is makes information about the world settle in the brain via the morphological neurology.

Neurology changes patterns when new information impresses onto it. How the neurology is patterned depends on factors such as what kind of information was the person exposed to?

In the case of learning what the world was, what the mind was, etc, people had no way of knowing, but they were tribic, so they see each other very tribically, and they thought they saw the world this same way. They didn’t know that the mind was info, they thought it was the world, and they thought the world was anthropomorphic.

Therefore they believed in a kind of panopticon world. That means a kind of jail where the guard can see what all prisoners are doing in their cells perfectly and clearly at all times. They also believed in pseudo tele-transmission phenomena such as telepathy, telemetry, and telekinesis. The brain is a correspondence organ in humans, so for the brain to make the mistake of believing that their minds could be read, and they could transmit communication from inside mentally was inevitable. It couldn’t be avoided, and it still can’t very often, but not as often per capita now.

So rather than the mind making the replica of the world as just the world the mind was that plus it talked, read minds, controlled everything and everyone around them, and kept track of every detail forever.

BUT…what was this world? This world was in their mind; a weird, funny attempt by their brains to replicate what the 3D world was like. Their brains went even further to represent a extra dimension of reality which is not real nor ever will be where invisible (non-existent) beings exist and can view from out of sight.

Think of the world like a snow globe, so all of the world is in that little, glass snow globe that you shake up, and the snow flutters around in their. Now the figurine in there is like a snow globe, so imagine that when you shake up the globe, the snow globe in the figurine’s head shakes up too exactly the same. You can see inside both of them for this metaphor.

Here’s the thing. In the big snow globe there’s no pseudo tele-transmission phenomena. It doesn’t exist. In the figurine’s snow globe that represents a human mind it can be assumed there is pseudo tele-transmission phenomena…

…and so the whole informationous mind paradigm in that figurine (snow globe) is fixed to mean that everything is based on the rules set by pseudo tele-transmission guidelines.

When the right brain is showing the world, and it is also talking in various ways not always with the words like they were spoken, it’s your brain that is posing as you and as the deity or demon whatever they are in your particular culture, cult, or tribe in any millennia.

You’re literally splitty with 2+ selves mentally because of the simple confusion about informatoinology and logic. All information is subject + predicate (predicate describes subject). This is what the mind is, what the movies are, the sentences in books, and so forth. It’s like that because 3D reality is like that. There’s always a thing or we say subject, object, or phenomenon, and there’s always what that subject or thing is being or doing which is the predicate about the subject. Even computer coding works like this. It is an intrinsic part of the universe, informationlogy, language, and mindology.

This is what we are inside…mentally…after the brain makes this information. That’s how we work, and how can anyone expect the people 30,000 years ago to know, or 100 years ago, or even now? When writing came around, then people started to figure it out…not many people.

So you can be splitty with other things beside what the 3D world. You can be splitty with other people and what they are thinking or feeling. You’re brain can tell you what they are probably thinking or feeling, and it can remember what they have felt or thought before which you know because they said or acted like it.

That information you believe or know about them is not them. It’s you. It’s your mindological “color dye” if you will. It’s information.

So why "splittyness, eh?

That just means that you are your mind and all of the information that it contains, but when it represents other people and the world etc, it means what is you, and it means what are those things. So it’s being split between meaning you and meaning them. That’s normal.

But the question that is always applicable in the mindological phenomenon in real time as the mind event is occurring is whether we are “them” mentally or ourselves mentally? This is a very strong factor or part in the phenomenon of mindology, and it’s intrinsic in the religio, culto, lingual, societal effects. I’ll save you from a long dissertation about that though.

My suggestion is to figure out that what is happening is a paradigm of feelings, visuals, motor signals, memories, creativity, etc, and it’s happening in one of your organs. It’s information, and it means stuff, but keep in mind that information doesn’t have to be true or false. Info is subject + predicate, and if the subject is not a real phenomenal thing in 3D reality, then the information is a logical fallacy. If the predicate is not real in 3D reality, then the info is a logical fallacy. If these two are real in 3D reality, but the predicate doesn’t really describe that subject in 3D reality, it’s a logical fallacy.

Logical fallacies do not exist in 3D reality. 3D reality is what determines what is logical information. However our brains make all kinds of information that clearly contradicts logical information, and they express this inside of us first, and then it is expressed outside of us.

When you know how all of this stuff works, then the lies in your brain stop tricking you into feeling all kinds of crazy things.

Why? It’s very simple. The information in your paradigm means things that correspond directly with the activation of specific feelings and movements even specific words that you’ll just say, or it will activate these feelings to restrain you from saying or doing anything.

So to change these feelings that are the drivers of you, you simply need to change the information of your mind event.

If your mind paradigm information means one thing, then the result is the activation of one feeling and/or action.

If your mind paradigm information means another thing, then the result is the activation of another feeling and/or action.

Therefore if you must stop the irrational one feeling, you only need to change the one meaning of your mind paradigm information.

When you learn what informationology is, you learn what mindology is. You then understand your paradigm is a replica of reality in your brain instead of some kind of 3D reality. When you know this all day, every minute, and every day, then…

…then the information in your mind paradigm is changed meaning, right? YES!

Therefore your feelings are changed as well.

So if you are scared, depressed, procrastinating, phobic, paranoid, manic, nauseated all for no rational reason, refer to what your mind information is anyway. When you realize again what the case is for your mind, and therefore what it is for all other minds, the feelings change because you changed its information.

You advanced your understanding of yourself and reality. You are reality, right? Yes, we’re all real. We’re no sci fi. We’re information minds, paradigms in brain organs.

Now in this case “who” is your right brain hemisphere going to be splitty with and act like? You not the world nor the people that seems to give you voices. If you can learn to be simply splitty with what you know about your mind paradigm self, you will feel smarter, you’ll be more consistent, and you’ll feel better. It’s like having a dual processor or something. I have increased this drastically in the past year, and I’m still getting better and better every week. I began to look at everything this way last year. It took me a year to map it all out.

I can relate to your post on many levels

How old were you were diagnosed??

I’m glad I’m not alone in feeling the ego had no control and the super ego and id were out of control a bit. I used to not understand this Freudian stuff at all but recently stuff is making much more sense. Thanks.
