Cause I don’t exaggerate. I really feel very bad after taking my Zyprexa. The problem is that its the only ap who puts me on my feet. I am stuck with it in a way, you see… But I cant imagine any life being like this.
So I need some med to counteract my depression and the stupor in which the Zyprexa puts me. Did you do the same? Do you have to take ssri’s or something else to counteract the effect of the ap? My bad mood and the sufferance now is from the Zyprexa, I assure you. So we are trying to add lithium now. Is there a point to include a lifting med when my ap works bad? the Zyprexa kills my emotions, it kills my thinking too and I feel worse than just without emotions, I am in pain…The feeling is some kind of smashed brain with bad thoughts wow, but I cant change my ap…
I wonder if latuda will be able to keep me on my feet without the smashing effect (some say its similar to Zyprexa). But we still don’t have it in my country.
This makes me very nervous. I am still very much so in the learning phase, and I didn’t realize that an AP could cause depression. I’m being taken OFF of my anti-depressant (Wellbutrin/ Bupropion) because my pdoc is trying to minimize the meds that I’m on. Anti-depressants can apparently make manic episodes worse in bipolar disorder, and with sza, it stands to reason that they could be bad for me. On the other hand, I don’t want to go the other way and fall into depression either. I guess it’s something I’ll have to watch out for.

I had negative symptoms before I started APs. But Latuda and Wellbutrin help. Latuda changed my life.

don’t worry, it happens more to the schizophrenics who had bad negative symptoms. I am a special case, but even my doc said that Zyprexa can kill my emotions and my thinking too… I have a lot of negative symptoms in fact.
