Are you really moving? My son was recently in Scotland and he loved it. I think Edinburgh is gorgeous. I’m excited for you; what a fun change! 
Oh, and I prefer Autumn because the weather is mild, the trees are beautiful and the nights are cold.

I like Spring and Autumn, because the weather is mild. I like Summer more than Winter. In Winter the sky is usually grey and the trees are bare and the countryside looks bleak. Autumn is the holiday season and the American football season, and the trees are turning. In Spring the weather is perfect and the mosquitos haven’t hatched yet.

I like winter because it makes running easier. It gets too hot and humid to even be outside at all in my town during the summers. It’s like the equator.
If I could park my car in the garage like my parents do, I would like winter even more, because scraping ice off my car sucks.
I do like spring, though. It’s just that spring turns into summer and summer is hot as hell.

Personally I like all the seasons, but my favorite is Autumn. As a joke they say Michigan’s got two seasons construction and winter.

I’m from Southern California and it could be said that in my area it’s just one long season, or nearly so.
This year is already different, with El Niño bringing us much needed rain after four years’ drought. We’re also experiencing lower temperatures, which I’m loving.
My response to this question is that I love variation and I hope for many more good and sustaining Earth years.

I just love winter. Our summers are too hot. Last week it was 43 degrees C.

I honestly dislike winter, it’s cold I got to take the dog out every hour it stinks. I dislike summer too because it’s too hot and often times i’m stuck watching the kids in the pool while i’m outside in the hot hot sun. I prefer spring and fall.

I love winter… it’s cooler temperatures… the rain and snow… the chance to recharge the batteries
From the Winter… comes the spring… I love Spring… planting new gardens… getting ready for a new year.
Then into summer… which is a little to hot for me… but it’s a great time for surfing and what I planted is ready to come up… it’s nice to have all the windows open and a nice warm breeze in the house
Then there is Fall… LOVE fall… the trees turn… the chill comes back to the air… things slow down again…
I guess I can find a little good in all the seasons… but then… I’m in Rain City… not a place that gets too hot or too cold… just more rain or less rain.

i’m a spring person, there is a very nice walk here in spring just near my flat, all the flowers come out and the trees bloom, its just like a forest of colour, and the sun, spring and summer but mostly spring bc of the flowers :), @darksith i hope you like Scotland,
