Fall and winter are the best.
They’re cold, I like dressing in sweaters, layers and cozy clothing.
I love the cold and the smell of these seasons. Christmas, halloween and thanksgiving my favourite holidays. I love the fall colours, not having to worry about getting a sunburn or being too hot. Lol
Here in Canada the winters can become pretty unbearable, though. But I don’t mind the -30°C days.

Some of those winters in Scandinavia were pretty full on.
Can get minus 30 and more. brrrr.
But thats not so common area where i lived but it still got cold.
The snow would be slaggy and it could be grey and dark all day with no sun out most days.
Always having to wear so many layers of clothes and even long johns and several socks etc.

Although I love all seasons.

I love living in the country i live now although here one does not experience seasons as such.
Not like dramatic differences in scandinavia.

Autumn is lovely. I love the smell of autumn. So earthy n vibrant. All the coulourful leaves and refreshing wind.

Spring i love too with bulging buds blossoming slowly.

Summer. We used to go for dips in lakes mostly back in those days.
The lakes also had this earthy smell and the taste was so good too.
Finally one could undress and feel some sun.

Where i live now we do not experience season changes so much at all.
No leaf less trees in winter, no dark days after days…

Summer. It’s green and the air doesn’t hurt my face. Canadian winters suck.

My favorite season is autumn, for all the reasons Webby said, and because it is the American football season. There are usually a few days in the part of autumn known as Indian summer that are perfect. Next comes spring, then comes summer, and then comes winter. Winter is bleak for me. There is much about it that I don’t like.

My favorite season is Fall with the changing of the leaves, cooler temperatures, holidays like Thanksgiving, football, the occasional first snow of the season (not every year though), and the prelude to Christmas.

Autumn is my favourite season. The leaves changing color to match our fleeting moods seems just right somehow…the smell of branches and roots smouldering on distant bonfires…a coolness in the air.

I also love autumn…love the beautiful colors of the leaves changing on the trees…didn’t have that in Phoenix, AZ. but the winters in Arizona were much more bearable than they are here in Oklahoma. Spring is my second choice but summer and winter are undesirable.

I like Spring, cooler weather and no leaves to rake. Summers in Louisiana are hot and humid.
