Do you look after your physical health?

I do an hour of Beat Saber 3-5 times a week. It is a VR game that is super fun, and really gets my heart rate up. I also do kickboxing and take the dog on walks, usually once a week for each. My dog has arthritis now and can’t tolerate walks like he used to.

My diet is really good. I am pescatarian, so a lot of my meals are very lean. I have a lot of fresh fruits and veggies around, because I love being able to grab a snack and go.

I definitely notice my mental health and chronic pain getting worse on days I don’t eat fresh produce or exercise.

Only recently. It’s a good thing to do.

Since lockdown got lifted here, I have been swimming at the gym for 4-5 times a week doing 25 mins a time. I only do breaststroke, but I am trying to build up my fitness at the moment.

I am also working outside in a very active job.

Since March, I have now lost 19 kilos in weight. I hope to keep this weight off

Eating wise my diet has not changed much, except for the fact I eat less take aways now.

I think having a take out pizza once a week was not helping my weight

Now I am 75 kilos instead of 94

Diet has been better since I moved in 2017, but still far from perfect. Having an idea what I should eat is one thing. Having the cooking and organisational skills to implement a healthy diet quite another. If I 'd have a personal cook and a personal dietician.

Exercise- Don’t do very much at the best of times.Even less so since the COVID19 situation. Do some basic exercises for balance and muscle weakness.

LS! I take good care of myself and of my physical health. I fast Thursdays and Sundays. The other days I am on a high protein lacto ovo vegetarian diet. I exercise two to three hours every day. Cardio, strengthtraining and yoga. I have taken 50K in dietary supplements over the last 25 years.

My diet could be Better, and I like to exercise every second day. Could I do Better, could I do more? Absolutely.

Kind of 50:50
I stand quite a lot instead of sitting when I’m often restless
I eat junk most days
I eat lots of homemade veg soup and smoothies
Vegan protein shakes or whey when I get sick of the taste of pea or soya protein
I cook fresh food every day
Eat cheese too often
I try to electric bike ten miles a day but then don’t for days
Walk a bit but not many miles and only a few times a week
Mums dog, other little walks but im borderline obese

I am happy with how I care for my physical health and body.

It’s not perfect but I don’t want to be too strict.

I love eating junk every week but try not to eat it daily and am on a vegan diet.

I walk my brothers dogs three times a week and do pump at home two times a week.

My nails used to be disgusting always but are now pretty with nice colour on them.

I shower daily but don’t change clothes daily.
I change underwear daily but sleep in the same clothes I wear day time if I wear tracksuit.
Summer time I change clothes more often but it’s so cold.brrrrr

I go to the hairdresser regularly.

I take vegan supplements.

I don’t drink enough water I think.

My sleep I’m happy with and I have sleep tablets I take if needed.

I would like to lose a couple of kg in a healthy way but don’t want to eat less and don’t want to give up ice cream etc

I’m happy with my physical health and body.

My stomach sticks out a bit but I think that’s because of my hysterectomy they cut my whole stomach and I was told it is common for it to go big after such a surgery.
My x said it’s fat but even when i was skinny it stuck out.
I can’t afford a tummy tuck so it might stick out as much as my boobs that are small.

I’m getting tattoos.

Loving my body as it is.
Taking pretty good care of it.
Can’t afford to have plastic surgery but if I could afford it I would.
Can’t afford massage etc but i think my body is pretty happy and well.:metal:t5::slightly_smiling_face::two_hearts:

Decently healthy, exercise and eating healthy but with some fun food items here and there.

Not at all. I eat like a pig and don’t exercise anymore. I have black lungs from chain smoking and high bad triglycerides and bad cholesterol. We don’t eat healthy as a family even when growing up.

The air quality around here is horrid. One of the worst in the nation.

Growing up, I took care of myself. I did immense hygiene (showers 2-3 times a day) and ate semi-healthy and refused to eat out and drink soda and garbage. I was healthy and looked attractive. I was fit and good looking and my mind was sharp.

I always pushed myself to my limit when working out and lifting weights. Now, I don’t do ■■■■.

I used to brush my teeth every day before schizophrenia. Now, it’s like once a month. My teeth are bright yellow and I have cavities. I have insurance but I have a copay and I feel too embarrassed. If things don’t change my teeth will be destroyed in a couple years. My front tooth is already cracked.

People don’t understand how strong and powerful I was before schizophrenia. I was extremely motivated, high functioning, despite extremely mild aspergers syndrome. People thought I didn’t like people. That’s what they told me up front. I was kind of a jerk. I struggled growing up. I don’t really feel comfortable around people – never did; especially at parties and large groups. But I always survived and pushed myself.

I have a bad case of schizophrenia and I find it atypical. Like I have vision and sensory disruption and damage that is driving me crazy and feeding my psychosis.

The only thing I do that’s still Good is reading and learning a bit. It’s hard when it feels like I lost 10+ IQ points, but I can still learn or relearn advanced math and understand some quantum physics.

I do some bodybuilding 3 times a week. I usually get tired at work because i need to keep moving whole day.

All I need is a good long lasting compact fridge so I can put my fresh produce in there.

I’m walking 10 000+ steps every day. Try not to eat junk food. Don’t exercise unfortunately. Looking after also means checking up with a doctor in case there is something suspicious. Which I don’t do, no motivation.

Hi there. How are you doing atm? You said that you were high functioning. What exactly do you mean by that? Are you low functioning at the moment? How do you score yourself?
