Do you like math?

Here’s an interesting song by a cool guy named Eminem called “Rap God”. I was good at math in school starting from 4th grade onwards but I always idolized my dad who studied meteorology in China and Computer Science in the US. My dad wanted me to stay on the arts and literature side and I have talent for reading and writing, but I studied a little computer science in college too and it helped me learn to set traps and stuff… Anyways most of my college projects and papers were fine, but I had a fascination with Gundam and obtaining the powers of deductive logic. I had no idea that nobody on the right likes anything about Gundam technology. But I did do a red and black honey bee hive in art class (yeah, I didn’t study anything useful in college) and did some research into the art of mathematics. I didn’t know deductive reasoning is subnatural and configuring to the mind. In fact, common sense and concrete reasoning is probably not necessary for most technological endeavors and it is something the world can live without. Oh, and in case you’re wondering what foods I’m craving lately it’s hamburgers, pork, lemon cake, lemonade, and obviously salmon, coconut milk, and boba. And avocados, Peking duck, eggs, and cucumbers and Hong Kong milk tea with cheese. Tuesday I have support group and can get another cup of Cheese Tea. Fattening I know. It also takes away time I could be spending with the puppies. Took the puppies to the park today!!! Also I apparently enjoy “perceiving” on hiking trails with my “perceptive friend”… ok I think I’ll sleep early tonight but first I just want people to appreciate a world without deductive reasoning or common sense. Lol.

@tukey. What’s up with you gal? I’m so poor at math. Have been since senior high school where I went from 7’s ot 3’s in senior. Still got to university but failed that too.

All’s I know is that getting to the bottom of things and deductive logic can be problems for those with sz. Lot’s of roadblocks but hey. Not dissing you. Just wondering where you are with things? Not a fan of Marshall Mathers or whatever he is. Not really a rap person but each to their own…

Bubble tea does sound solid though. I’m with you on that. Keep well. Don’t overthink things and keep on those meds.

The world can live without anything. Deductive logic is simply crystalline language, very beautiful like crystals, it glimmers in the light. People, artists, become obsessed with it, but it is not necessary to appreciate the world, as you say. Still I think a world without crystals would be dull. I am not very good at growing such crystals formerly, some might say, artificially, but then anything grown artificially is ugly. It is only when nature gives something life, inspiration, that a thing grows, ultimately there is no difference between artificial and natural, just aesthetics. Thank you.

I like statistics. its nice to know, reassuring that some things are ‘unlikely’ according to statistics.

I used to like the magic of algebra n things in school, how it all just fits together n patterns

All algebra is shuffling, that is the most abstract definition to date. But nothing repeats exactly. Shuffling is what a magician does to distract. It is a way of asking questions, of posing approximations to others, of communicating. But here is the interesting thing, shuffling actually leads to growth, because there are more permutations than the original order, even when one reaches the infinite.

Oh thank God Eminem wrote other songs!!! “Everybody just follow me” being a good one… a lot of my friends in high school liked rap and hip hop but my close group mostly listened to Japanese stuff and I also was into stuff like “Simple Plan.” Good thing they saved something helpful!!! https://youtu.be/YVkUvmDQ3HY
If you’re feeling like a “Rap God”, eat peanut butter, fruits, bbq sauce or buffalo sauce, lemon lime sprite that they now have at McDonalds, make trustworthy friends, go to a college where friends can help you, and get modest job that lets you afford basic necessities, watch comedies, watch superhero films and animation, go out with close friends and family, friend teachers, put up posters in your room, listen to pop and hip hop, watch dramas, “dress down”, join the cause, use extroversion… man I’m tired but my puppy is still giving me silent treatment for not letting her sleep on the bed which she always pees on.

I wish I hadn’t blown off math in high school. I think that if I got into the more theoretical aspects of math I might like it.
