Do you like living on your own?

I dont. I get lonely. I get bored. I get depressed. But lonely and depressed is the worst combination. Just makes you feel sad.

Before moving back in with family I lived in an apartment. I got lonely and bored also. Then things were so quiet I could hear my neighbors I thought voices were coming back so I moved out after 3 months.

There are good points and bad points to both living alone and with someone else. I’ve done both and prefer living with others.

Currently living with my mon and our dog in a 2 roon flat with a kitchen and bathroom. My mom is so caring and loving, just my sz and depression takes out on her without apparent reason and in ashamed. My dad deceased when I was 9 and my sister is living abroad alone

I’ve lived alone since 2008. It has been almost intolerable. I wish I had someone to watch TV with.:frowning:

I hated room mates
Always wanting me to give them rides to go buy meth
Selling my stuff
Eating all the groceries in one night
Collecting trash from the dumpster
Having sketchy people over
Not taking meds as supposed to

Personally I am drug and alcohol free
My roommates were not :pensive:
I’ve reached a point where I don’t make friends, just aquaintances, people that I can talk to but never get close to
I’m sick of being taken advantage of

Every time i live alone i either start drinking or smoking pot. I get bored and lonely and depressed too. I miss my old apartment from time to time. But moving in with my paremts has been a blessing.

I’m living alone again after 10 years of either living with family or significant others. I like having my own space with just my dog and I. And I’m out of a toxic family environment. But I still visit them Monday through Friday. The only down side is I’m paranoid of someone breaking in or all the strangers around me. So I take my dog with me everywhere. But maintenance is on point. Fixed a problem in a day and a half wait. So I’m relieved.

I’m just more comfortable alone
I have loads of things to keep me busy
And I sleep better at night knowing my belongings are safe :slightly_smiling_face:
