I get bloodwork at least every year these days. Check out the whole lot! As you age it’s the thing you need to do so it’s not a bad thing hooking up with your local gp regularly!
Are you on metformin? Maybe get in touch with a nutritionist or do some in depth searching for diabetes diet plans for blood sugar online. You may have to change your life.
I was in that category (on an ap) iuntil very recently being okayed by my pdoc to come off abilify. I have an unusual appetite for carbs even on just 2.5mg. I have reason to believe I may have high blood sugar on the low dose. Thankfully I haven’t lost my foot yet, LBVS
I don’t know mine but above 200 is diabetes, doctors don’t recommend to cut bread and the other carbs completely because diabetics are at higher risk of stroke and serious cardiovascular complications and if you cut carbs you would need to eat more fats.
Therefore they recommend to eat small portions of whole grain carbs (80g/100g) with veggies to slow down the absorption of glucose (which is the preferred source of energy for our body and the only one the brain accepts).
