while being with schizophrenia
i am btw on halodol it probably cause weight gain too

I am on clozapine and cause weight gain mostly around stomach area
It’s hard to loose weight but I am managing to control it mostly
I walk a lot

I’m 5’ 9" and weigh 230. Most of it is around my belly. I think it affects my back.

Yeah it is difficult to lose weight on medication, yet without medication it is equally as difficult to lose weight without hearing some insults and naturally growing angry for being offended without knowledge of who you are. It is right for a person to get angry after so many insults, it is right and just to harness this anger into discipline and continue doing what you are trying to achieve (losing weight) and prove the insults wrong instead of stooping to a level of stupidity over ignorance. The thing is… as mentally ill people, we stick out like sore thumbs, we really are viewed as different because of the stigma that comes with word of mouth and the way the media portrays those of us who grow angry and act upon it over words. I am doing what I can to show this statistic that it is not out of the question that a mentally ill person can live without psychotropic medication, I just need to get a job to silence more idiots about our average productivity. The truth is even without money paying jobs, some of us do many productive things little by little.
