I have type 2 Diabetes.
No I don’t, but probably should have. I’ve been lucky so far.
My sugar has been high for about ten years.
Me too, diabetes 2
Med induced type 2 Diabetes
I have diabetes type 2, yes.
I have pre-diabetes. I’m trying to lose weight to prevent full blown diabetes.
I have type 2 Diabetes. I can’t deal with it and I have it since february 2019. I tried to change, but after a short while I don’t care anymore. The pleasures of sugar and cigarettes outweight the consequences of getting the health into a downard spiral. And also suicidal ideation and depression kicking in, I prefer to have some sort of relief.
I have type 2, but my average blood sugar has been in the prediabetic range for a while.
Can I know what is the main factor that determines the occurrence of diabetes type 2 ?
Is it weight or APs or unhealthy lifestyle
I am asking cause my current bmi is over 45 and I am concerned

Same here. I need to lose a good 25lbs.
No I don’t. My A1c is 5.4.
I have delayed my yearly blood sugar test for like a year. I really hope I’m not diabetic as I have done a lot of binge eating. And plus I have pcos
I get a blood test in May. I weigh 250 lbs and my blood tests are always clear of diabetes. If I just stopped eating cookies and candy I’d drop 20 lbs in a short time. That would make my blood pressure drop drastically too.

At one point I had a 6.9 A1c. Then I cut sweets out of my diet and haven’t had major problems since (knock on wood).
I read about it and I can affirm APs create insuline resistance in our body. insuline resistance is the only reason for the multiplication of fatty tissue without food. When I was on Zyprexa I got fat and I made a eat almost nothing diet. So the APs increase or create insuline resistance. good news is exercise can revert it. That is the history. If you want your diabetes ii to say goodbye you gotta get on some jogging, biking, swimming, rope jumping, whatever, you have to sweat the fat away. It is strange the literacture about APs not to be clear about this feature.
prediabetic myself.
