Everyone on this forum and their cat probably knows that I want to direct movies.

In reality I can probably only handle working at a cat food factory.

I had one, I worked as a chef. Not a day goes by where I don’t miss it.

I’ve had a few dream careers, mostly to do with public service and mental health. Ive given up on having my dream career and am focusing on being self sufficient with a career that helps me be independent. Mental health activism will hopefully fill my needs of a dream career. Ive been meaning to get involved, I will be more present if this virus ever goes away, until then its signing petitions and doing research on mental health issues.

Yeah I’m trying not to. I’m just starting to feel my age. Plus no one really wants to make art or do anything constructive in my city. It’s just frustrating.

Keep up hope. If you don’t, you may miss your chance.

My dream job was to be a physician, even went to med school, but my first psychotic break took me down that March.

I’ve dreamed a lot about having the perfect career. For me my “perfect career” is the Holy Grail: it’s always out of reach (because it doesn’t exist). The impossible quest keeps my hands busy, which helps me ignore the fact that I actually don’t work at all/don’t have a job. It’s sort of sad.

I want to quit thinking about what I wish I could do and begin doing what I could actually do. But that’d mean accepting that my illness has reduced/changed my capability, which is hard.

I wanted to be a Dr but ended up with a kinesiology/physiotherapy degree instead because of sz, it brought down my grades and intelligence.

Thank you for the encouragement!

Even if I don’t make it it’s okay. I have no moral qualms with fiddlefarting through life.

You seem like a very sharp guy to me Aziz. I wish we lived closer and I could have you over for coffee.

I knew in first grade that I wanted to be a pilot. Too bad for crossed eyes with double vision and eye sight that won’t stabilize. Had three eye surgeries when I was a kid.

Oh well. Guess some kids in special education can’t fulfill their dreams.

I used to be very bitter about it but now I just accept things as they come at me.

I would have liked to be an author. I can write and have ideas for books but lack the concentration and ability to sit down and work on anything but the basic things.

I would’ve liked to have become POTUS. I think the sz precludes me from running. Also, I inhaled. Many times over.
