Do you handle stress well?

Time spent with my in laws is challenging. It’s so loud and stressful. I see them often too.

My anxiety gets bad. And the mind gets electric at night before bed.

Do you handle stress and loud environments well?

Sorry you have to go through that. it sounds like being trapped. I have no expert advice for you
the more anxious you get with them the more you should focus to breathe to stay calm

Yeah im similar with family and groups. Too much happening. Im a lot better one on one. But i think its impoving a bit for me recently so thats good.
I had a massive panic attack a few months ago at a family gathering and got an uber home. Was very stressful.

My nurses basically convinced me that stress is what triggers psychosis so I no longer believe I can handle it well at all tbh. I used to, growing up I thought I was always managing it fine but after psychosis I’ve realised maybe I never was.

I can handle most social situations but it’s more about prolonged exposure so having isolated events isn’t bad for me. Doing the daily grind of something like work really does bite into my paranoia so I am ok with most social situations I find myself in and I like people and am a people person. I like a good chat!

I am ok with stress but I don’t like to stress others. I prefer no stress but there is good stress that makes me feel like I am a part of something.

Stress gets to me eventually if I don’t cut back on exposure. I avoid socially-intense situations. I work from home in order to keep a flexible schedule and avoid people watching me all the time.

Celebrities must be dealing with a lot of mental pressure. Being on stage in front of hundreds or thousands, always observed, sometimes followed or even stalked. Their therapists must have their hands full.

I don’t handle stress well. It makes me go wacky. So i try to keep things as low stress as possible.

I manage going to group fine now. Probably because ive been going for 2 years and know everyone well.

I can handle my family(minus a couple) and a couple of friends i have. They are typically low stress. Aside from the couple i stated.

Currently stressed by my cousin and his gf. So feeling off balance tonight.

I handle it like this:

Not dangerous voices, if voices could be dangerous. Last night was kept up and I asked them why and in the morning they said I made certain comments even though I didn’t want to speak to them. Most of them (voices) are pretty shady.

Sometimes i like stress and busy life.
Sometimes i wanna sleep and do nothing.

Yeah this. I usually do well but stressed I get paranoid. I’m lucky as I’ve lived on disability for 20 years. Work really does my head in but lived a good life regardless due to family and friends and a good government policy from back then.
