Do you remember your friends When you were not schizophrenic? Do you still have some friends? I had one now but i never talk to him.

I have a couple friends that I’ve had for a long time, since before I got sick, but I rarely talk to them. Maybe a couple times a year.
I got like 3 really good friends that I still talk to and my best friend might have SZ too, but he’s undiagnosed but we’ve talked about it extensively and our symptoms are just alike in nearly every aspect.

I do not think there was a not schizophrenic time for me as I was always a weirdo with strange beliefs etc
I might have friends in spirit and I have you guys on the forum.
I have two friends on Facebook but we have not had contact for many years.
We do not hang out.
They have children etc
I do not have friends, maybe I get a friend one day … well my diaries and notebooks are my friends and I write my private and personal thoughts to these paper documents …
As we get older we tend to drift apart. But I, like most of us,. Lost contact with my closest friends due to my illness. I did get to the point in my recovery where i Forgive and forget all the things that were said and done to separate us. Well years have passed ,things have changed and We are distant but still friends… Things change and me not being the same person I was am now attracted to a different kind of friend. I have different frends now.

I have a few friends irl, though only one I really hang out with much. I went through a long period of having no friends, mostly while I was very sick but not getting treatment of any sort (age 15-20), so I really feel for people who don’t have friends in their lives.
As far as the friends I had before I was sick, that was a long time ago, and most people at 38 years old don’t hang out with the same people they hung out with when they were age 15 and younger. There are a bunch of them on my facebook, but it’s not like we really chat or anything.
No there were times in my life where I didn’t have people to hang out with everyday, just distant friends, and was a little lonely. A good portion of my life involves friends though.

Not much to celebrate. I drove around outside all day. Came home and we went to a Christmas sermon and candle lighting at a church.

I had a few friends in high school. And afterwards I had occasional friends. I liked my friends in high school but now looking back, at the way they treated me, all I can say is that they can go screw themselves.
I had a close group of friends but rarely see them now

I do talk to some of my old friends. They can make me feel normal sometimes. Sometimes I tell them what’s going on with me and we try not to feel weird about it.
I don’t have any friends. I’ve been a loner since I was a kid. I’m very isolated right now.

I’e had less than a handful of friends in 60 years. One old friend I’ve mentioned from years ago at prep school even blocked me on Twitter.

I had some friends at school and online but I left them all when I was getting sick, now I’m still friend with my cousins and I’m trying to become friends with other MI people.
