Ye0, @anon54988740 I’m the same. I like to say I am a Humanist. Care about everyone.
My family used the N word so casually. It was just how they talk. They weren’t being vicious, they just had always called black people that. I did, too, until I learned better.
Back when I was a young man I had a couple of sex partners who were African American. That’s about as non-racist as you get. In high school I took an African American girl to an Elton John concert. She said she liked Elton John. Her parents insisted on going with us though. We went anyway with her parents.
We don’t brew moonshine or shoot raccoons from a rocking chair on the porch or anything though.
Honestly my stepdad hates my mom and that causes tension. My stepdad’s parents are some of the nicest people ever and are kind to all of us. My mom is one of my best friends. I have two brothers, one I play video games with at least once a month, and the other who doesn’t speak up much but recently started experiencing SZ symptoms. We’ll be moving back soon and I plan on spending more time with him since he really needs his family right now.
Yeah we belong, but its kinda cold relations i guess. I suppose were all to blame for that. You are lucky if you had nice warm household. Maybe we just had a bad blend. Im not really certain, i was having mental difficulties from the get go and so seemed the rest. I. think my mom thinks shes the sane one, but i dont know bout that.
I recall my adopted sister saying “mommie dearest” sometimes and her and the family were very rocky. I dont kow what all was going on there even before i was born. Lots of questions about it all still. I guess i was supposed to be the glue to put it together but i was more silly putty.
