I have a few bird feeders, but don’t have the extra income to feed them anymore. I just saw a hummingbird in my front yard, it flew next to the wind chime, to see if it was a birdfeeder. I would like to feed them now that im stable. when I was psychotic, I thought they were talking to me and themselves. birds are very vocal animals, and they used to drive me crazy.

another thing that is preventing me from feeding them. is we have squirrels, and they knock down the bird feeders and eat all the seed.
my aunt who lives in Tennessee loves birds and has lots of bird feeders. my mom and dad just visited and they had a bear that was getting into the birdfeeders. my mom told my aunt not to feed them if it was going to attract bears. my mom said “god feeds the birds” and my aunt told her to shut up. haha.

I don’t feed birds (don’t know if I can have a feeder up in my community), but once, a hummingbird started pecking on my window over and over. I thought someone was chucking pebbles at the window, so I peeked outside, and it was a hummingbird!

haha cool story. I really like hummingbirds and they are quiet. I have a woodpecker that pecks on the barn, sometimes I hear it from inside.

I’m in a rented townhouse community and we aren’t allowed to feed animals in any way. I used to put peanuts out for the squirrels and my next door neighbor had a bird feeder, but then the landlord stopped allowing anything like that. I miss feeding my squirrels!

I thought birds were recording me with their eyes and hearing me with their ears. I have a bird feeder though. I got a yellow and black bird in my bird feeder yesterday. I got a male cardinal too.

I use bird seed now but before that I use to pop popcorn for them and they loved it

I feed stray cats. But I’m 99% convinced now they’re not stray and actually have homes but are just taking advantage of me

I feed peanuts to the squirrels at my apartment complex. We’re not supposed to but I’m discreet about it. They really like the pickle flavored ones.

When I lived in another apt I had a feeder outside the window and I would block off the window and take up close pictures of the birds. Cardinals were my favorite! Where I am now I am unable to do that. I love birds.

Sometimes i put a hand full of oats for the pigeons on the balcony. We got big birdbath outside. The birds use it a lot.

The neighbor used to have a ton of bird feeders. They crapped all over the place. She finally got smart and got rid of the bird feeders. No I dont feed the birds. They are too much of a nuisance.

@Wave ,I had one more visitor on the window.I was feeling bad and this beautiful pigeon flew to my window and stayed with me for five minutes.

Not round here i dont. Or you will get swarms of seagulls squawking at your window. It always looks like a bomb site down the street on bin day - where they have ripped them apart.
