Running away just for awhile? Would that help? Or would things get worse? Once my 16 year old hits 18 in November 2021 I think I’ll run away for a bit.

I have an elopement problem when unwell. My seeing the countryside while psychotic was enough for me. I have however always wanted to live in europe, but my support system is here.

I’m not sure. Drive and see where I end up.
I think about running away all the time. But I’m sure it would only make things worse for me.

years ago i was walking too much very far from home

Tried it a couple of times. Wherever I went, there I was. Didn’t work for that reason.

I guess so? It’s 28 years of AA showing through. We call it the “Geographical Cure” in the program and it’s notorious for not working worth a tinker’s damn. People need to deal with their problems in the time and place that they’re at.
