I grew up in a house where it only got donated if it was garbage.
But yesterday I donated 5 pairs of Levi’s to the local goodwill. The jeans weren’t new, but some guy is going to pay like $2 for them and wear them forever.

I donate clothes that are still in good condition. It makes you feel like crap to go to a resale shop and see only clothes that are worn with stains and holes. So I don’t do that to others. If it’s too worn, I toss it in the trash.
My parents donate clothes often and sometimes new bcz they don’t fit or we changed our mind about wearing them.
I only wear work clothes and they are pretty worn out by the time I am finished with them, my stuff is old now and junk so no one would want it as well
We plan on donating clothes and other stuff to our local homeless shelter.
Feels good to help others.
Good clothes that I don’t fit into or want go to the charity market. Ruined garbage clothes get turned into scrap cloths or sent to my friend to use for craft projects. My old stained t shirts are now a series of very nice masks.
We use scrap clothes for cleaning.
I work in a second hand shop. Most people give us very nice items that people are happy to buy. I also have donated quite a lot. I also bought most of my furniture and clothes there very cheap. It’s a good way to save money and the environment.
