In a way I feel that I am sick… Does anyone else feel this way?
I would say yes, but not in a demented way. I just have an unfortunate illness that requires me to be on medication.

sick as in good sick or bad sick? i think i prefer the good sick where they say it but actually mean it in a good way, kind of reverse psychology with words lol
I wish I could say no but this illness has affected my ability to function at work and school so yes. Maybe one day I’ll just accept that this is just the way it is

Both I’d say. When I go off the deep end I feel lost.

I was in denial for years, but now I accept that I have, as my doc says, a severe and persistent mental illness. So yes, I am sick and it explains a lot of lost opportunities and suffering in my life.
Why I’d have a completely different life, if not for the cursed SZ. It’s changed me and I’ve lost who I was really meant to be looooong ago. So now I’m a walk in person - best way I can explain it - I just go through life with few choices and well … you know … until I get to the other side - none of this will make any sense. The 1% - sigh If I am not mistaken 2-3% of the population has perfect pitch. So much for my rant.
Yes definitely but not as much as I have been.
Actually no, sometimes I feel I have an illness, but I just don’t see myself as a sick person. Maybe I’m still in denial about it a bit.
Just had a discussion with my psychiatrist about that…they find that i am sick/have an illness, i see it more as a wound. I don’t see myself as sick.
