Believing that there was someone specifically made for you , and particularly the belief that they are destined to find amongst all these 8 billion people in the world, is akin to magical thinking IMO. It’s just not very realistic.

By that definition I suppose it’s possible. By that definition there are many “Soulmates” however. It’s not the same as people thinking that there is one person specifically designed for them and they are destined to find them. Finding someone compatible is another story. But they aren’t likely to just fall in your lap. I don’t believe in “Fate” or “Destiny”.
