The local punk bands I like play their guts out. It’s raw and awesome, and I think can be seen as an untraditional form of musical ability / creativity.
I once frontman’d a punk band. We played this song at high school. Big hit.
Talking heads was classed as punk cause no one knew how to classify them. Always been a big fan.
