Do I have Tardive Dyskinesia?

hello Friends,
First of all thank you all for so much information that I got from forum already.
Need some personal advice:
I got on abilify around 6 months back and have started noticing

  1. some flickering movement of eye lids specially when stressed.

  2. Some time pain in face and jaws not much but it was definitely not there before.Comes and goes.

  3. These are more relevant symptoms that occurs frequently:

    Mostly at night sudden jerk in my neck or arm or leg would wake me up.
    Its not repetitive but just one. It has happened sometime when I am sleeping during day even…
    But it happens mostly when I am asleep.
    Never happened when I am awake so far hopefully would stay that way.
    I otherwise seem to have tolerated medicine well so far (will discuss on other thread).
    They say TD can go away by itself, how do we know.

Do Ingrezza cure it completely and its also life time thing like all other ■■■■ that we take?
Is there any preventative actions or drugs that I can take?

Heard one drug (forgot name now) doesn’t have any reported cases of TD (starts with c). But it might have other side effects.

Please let me know your opinions/experiences,

Hi there, you should definitely talk to your doc about the possibility of TD as soon as possible.

Hi Hop3, I tried to talk with my pdoc but she seems to avoid it so far and seems thinks its not TD or symtoms are negligible so far to garner attention perhaps.

Maybe try going to a primary care doc. I think they can test you for it.

will try that. do you know the name of any test off the top of your head?

AIMS test is a survey type test there’s a gov word document here
