I think i have half a year rolling my eyes. From left to top and then to right side. I had this thing when on Abilify years ago and then i switched to Invega and it went away. Could it be tardive diskynezia? Does anyone know?
Discuss it with your doc dude
I will discuss it in middle of January… Just being concerned and worrying about this. I’m calling @Leaf and @Wesley i think they mentioned something about TD, maybe they have a clue
You can always call her if you’re seriously concern.
But only if it’s a emergency
I’ve called my pdoc to much now shes not answering my calls…
Lol it’s Sunday now, and it’s almost Christmas, she is in vacation holiday whatever. It’s not emergency it’s more embarassing for me and i dont even know what exactly is
God I want to have life with no problems
You scared me a little @anon96660997. Glad you’re safe
This was a post of mine in September this year hahaha
I don’t know if it’s td. I don’t think so but if you’re still getting it you should get it checked out. If it resolved when you stopped taking abilify you should let your pdoc know so she can put it on your “tried and failed” list. That way she won’t ever try to give you abilify again.
it kind of sounds like it
I used to get eye twitching
seems like the eyes are always affected.
Unfortunately, it could be the beginning of it. With me, the first thing I noticed was involuntary movements of my tongue. It almost looked like it was a worm at times. I also had akathisia at the same time. I caught it early enough and tapered off slowly from the meds, and the tardive dyskinesia slowly faded away.
Sadly my pdoc was not very helpful. Said it was just symptoms of my mental illness. I ended up in the emergency room mainly due to the akathisia (which at the time was far more distressing than the TD) and at that time I was told by a regular nurse that I had the symptoms of akathisia and TD. I then looked them up on youtube and found info about them.
Yep mate, you would want to speak to a qualified professional regarding that.
Oh sorry you did already, sorry i didnt see that…
Keep pestering your doctor, thats what i would do
Otherwise see a doctor who will take it seriously
Thank you very much for info Wesley. I have akathisia for more than 3 years. This is the main reason for why I joined this forum 2 years ago. Now I have another account lol. I make everyday more than 15.000 steps moving inside my apartment or outside. I don’t have meds for akathisia in my country, my doctor gave me Romparkin a med for anti Parkinsonism for shaking but it didn’t work. And yes my tongue moves often daily. F@ck my life
So sorry to hear that. Akathisia was so unbearable for me that I chose to deal with and cope with the voices and the delusions rather than live with akathisia.
Yeah, it sounds like the beginnings of TD from what you describe with your tongue. I had the same thing happening.
I have this too from geodon 20 mg tardive dyskinesia
its propably nystagmus or an occular disease by the meds so not good talk to your doctor!
When I’m on clozapine I dont have issue. But if I take prn haloperidol,my tong starts moving.
