I think aps do

I think aps are stronger That is the reason

I read it was dangerous to combine antipsychotics with alcohol. I wouldn’t mix them.

I have given up alcohol many years ago

aps don’t mix with alcohol

Alcohol never works while on APs when I would drink I would just pee a lot. That’s in the past though.

folks only talk about recovery in terms from alcohol abuse

I never drink alcohol while taking my psych meds.

They are a dangerous mix

AP’s take the euphoria out of drinking booze

years ago I drank a few beers and felt the same no buzz

I don’t miss alcohol

I’m not sure. I thought that sometimes too, but I also believed the opposite for a while.

One thing that may serve as evidence is the one time I went out drinking and forgot to take my quetiapine afterwards. I usually sober up first then have it at the same night, which results in me being a little bit drunk the whole next day. But this time I forgot I woke up completely sober the next morning. It pretty much convinced me of my theory that quetiapine increases the alcohol effects.

What aps probably do to make you feel like they lessen the effects of alcohol is reducing how enjoyable drinking is. People say they do that to a lot of drugs, but I can’t vouch for that.
