My sister sometimes ignores me, but that’s mostly when I ask her for money.
She does send it though, she just doesn’t reply. And I always make sure to pay her back within the promised timeframe, and only borrow small amounts.

I am that family member lol. I hope my family doesnt take it personally, but I know they do. I’m just not a good communicator honestly, I wish I could blame it on this illness but I was like this before too.

I’d have to communicate with them to know this. I happily ignore some of my wife’s relatives.
My sister always ignores my calls and texts. maybe every 3 years, she’ll answer. i delete most of my brother’s texts, without reading them, with good reason
It’s not so much ignoring as it is we don’t interact with each other much(talking about birth family).My father and sister rarely phone me but I’m also the same. Ditto my brother.
My father and sister rarely reply to or like my Facebook posts. Although my sister liked one today.
I get hardly any emails from my sister, but then I don’t send many to her.Ditto my father. My brother and I email each other on a semi regular basis. There’ll be a flow of emails , and then things will go quiet for a while.

I normally end up phoning up my twin at about 5am when i know hes up for work. Doesnt always answer - but honestly cant blame him. Mum always gets a phone call dead on 9am every day , 10am on Sundays so i know shes ok.
I always get a call back at some point tho if they dont reply.
I have issues with public transport - so even tho they are only 10 miles away, i often dont see them in person for months - so i like to keep in contact.

My family ignores me too. I don’t know y I’m so unlikeable.

my cousin in Canada ignores all my calls and texts…I think he is somewhat depressed, so I sent him a gift parcel full of sweets, but I don’t know if he will say thanks
My older kids don,t talk or text me but sometimes my daughter in law will answer. My youngest doesn’t have a phone but he would talk and text me because he always wants to do stuff with me. Next year I plan on getting him a phone he will be 12 that way we can talk and text when we want to

My family is pretty close knit,
We talk regularly and rarely ignore calls or texts.
No, but they can take 2 or 3 days to call me back. It’s not done maliciously, it’s just the way they’ve always been.
If something important is going on or in an emergency and I tell them on a voicemail to call me right back they will do it.
I talk regularly with family in whatsapp.
