SZ ranks very high close to blindness, deadly infections like tetanus, Alzheimer and dementia.
SZ is more burden than mental disability and AIDS (without meds)!
Deadly infections can be treated so we can ignore them. I understand that dementia and Alzheimer are worse than SZ. I don’t know why they say that unmedicated AIDS is better than SZ, very weird. Maybe they used the worst SZ cases or counted the SZs that committed suicide.
SZ is ranked as worse than bipolar disorder.
It’s not a contest to see who has it worse.

I try I just played 2 hours straight of online video games but my mind keeps scratching me.
Its like if I feel joy in torturing myself, a mild form of suicide. Without my meds I committed suicide many times.

Pfft. My mother was blind. As in had both eyes removed from degradation, two glass eyes, and the world’s stupidest Seeing Eye Dog kind of blind. She would have killed to have the life I’ve had, to be able to work, drive, read normally, SEE. I know that she’d have traded my SZ symptoms for everything else in a heartbeat.
Yea that’s what the ranking showed, blindness is worse than SZ but Alzheimer and Dementia are the worse of all.
