Disappointed in Rosetta Stone Catalyst

I have access to Rosetta Stone Catalyst but am disappointed in the language learning software.

It doesn’t come cheap, but the audio recording software doesn’t really work well which trashes the entire experience.

I’ve tried many language learning platforms in the last 2 years and find most of them to be of poor quality.

Now I’m considering to study Spanish at Uni, as it would be better quality content but also more expensive and take more effort.

We’ll see said the blind.

That’s too bad because what Rosetta Stone represents is something really amazing and if it was real it would be so cool

I’ve seen the real stone actually in London. It’s an amazing piece of history!

Yeah, they all pretty shite in my experience.

There is nothing like lived experience and getting a ‘sweetheart’ who is native to the language to teach you in person.

Rosetta is particularly bad imo.

Maybe, an idea, when you improve, consider getting a pen pal. There’s even apps for dat but some u got to pay.

Hola. Nachos senor? Si si muy bueno.

I think you should spend some time in a spanish speaking country, if you really want to learn. Nothing you can do just by studying, up to a certain point…

Yeah I’m going for 3 months to Barcelona this winter. I know they also speak Catalan (and English), but aiming to practice my Spanish as well.
