Dinner in the mental institution

I have been there many, many times.

That reminds me of the inside of a mental hospital I got locked up in when I was 17. Not great :frowning:

I think I can feel your pain. And mine, too. I was in one of those wards as well.

I remember the state hospital they barely fed us I was hungry all the time

Yeah, I remember the lack of food at mental facility too. They gave you one small plate at every meal and thats all you got. Was always ready for more.

I can’t remember exactly but i spent 3 or 4 times Christmas and new years in a mental institution, but it was always good. The nurses put a lot of effort into having a good time with the circumstances.

I drew this picture in 45 minutes. I did not rely on any skill, but tried to capture the essence of the experience of being so terribly messed up mentally, and that at dinner it was even more apparent. I created it as artless as possible.

Sounds bad it must be better here bc when i was hospitalised the meals were really good, it was the highlight of my day, food wasn’t on my mind much but when i was told it was dinner time i felt a bit better, 4 meals a day- breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper, we had a little tea/snack area to grab a cuppa when we wanted as well.
