Differences between generics and brand name drugs

This is from Meta AI
(The person at my pharmacy got belligerent and said there was “no difference”
I can tell a huge difference.)

Yes there are differences especially with the inactive ingredients

I had one generic brand of Abilify that just didn’t work for me.

I used to think there wasn’t any difference.

in my opinion there is no difference as both have the same active ingredient.the only difference maybe the inactive ingredients which has minimal effect on efficiency of the drug.i want to mention that all my drugs is generic not brands and it works well for me.

All my meds, both medical and psychiatric are generic and they all work perfectly well. There is no difference between brand name and generic.

Not really much different between them. I take a generic cogentin of benztropine. Ask your pharmacist.

I’m on generic. I can’t tell a difference and my wallet thanks me.

I’m currently on brand name. But I have been on generic and noticed no difference.

Active ingredients are generally the same but the fillers can be different. One time my mother’s pain medication was changed for generic and it caused her horrible itching, so they found a way to get her back on brand name.

I am unable to sleep on generic AP, when I switched to brand name this problem went away.

Unfortuntely I believed the pharmacists when they said there was no differences, I guess that’s what they are teached, otherwise I would have tried to switch sooner and saved myself a lot of suffering.
