yup that will litteraly detox your system, and possible drain or damage your liver enzymes. id best recommend safest is counting carb and dead calories

I’m also interested in that. I would also like to know if you have gained weight after the diet and what medications you have been on.

I lost about 20kg calorie counting. I stopped calorie counting and gained about 10kg back.

You can download a calorie counting app for your phone. “My Fitness Pal” is a popular one.

Diets don’t work.

95% of dieters put the weight back on in 2 years. And 98% of dieters put the weight back on in 5 years.

If you want to lose weight you need to make lifestyle changes, this is what I did.

If I can do it anyone can do it.

Good luck

I hear the keto diet is good for weight loss. I want to try it myself but I’m too addicted to bread and dairy and sweets.

I lost 5 lbs but gained it all back and more recently.
I’m about to give up completely!

So sick of this crap!

Cut calories…

I went from 125 to 168 on Meds. Eventually after taking about over a year to get used to the Meds I started losing weight by counting calories. I would only eat processed food that had an exact calorie count on each container and aimed for 1200 calories a day while on abilify. I lost 20 pounds in less than a year. I’m at about 140 now plus or minus a few pounds. I’ve kept the weight off but I’m struggling with motivation to lose more. I want to be thinner but I guess not enough to lose the weight

@sea00115699 do you exercise much? I suggest a recumbent exercise bike, it’s very comfortable and you can easily spend 1-2 hours a day on it while doing something else like watching TV or playing video games.

Very chill exercise session.

I lost around 30lbs going vegan. First I cut out beef and steak, then chicken and fish and lastly cheese and dairy. The first month I pooped my heart out :joy: If you want to detox that’s a good way. I feel lighter and more energetic overall, no more lower back pain, it’s not easy but rewarding.

I lost 5kg simply by eating dinner earlier say around 6pm. I usually ate dinner between 7-8pm.

That’s funny that you suggested an exercise bike! I haven’t exercised in a very long time but I just had my dad order me a foldable exercise bike last night before reading your post.

I lost 50 pounds and kept it off over the last three years by eating a regular diet and counting all my calories everyday on a calorie counting app on my smartphone. The app I use is called: www.MyFitnessPal.com It really works!

There’s so many different kinds of diets. But the new fad is keto diet. It’s eating foods that the hunter gatherers ate so seeds, fruits and such lol

Honestly, the only way to lose weight is timing. Very complex. If you really want help, see a nutritionist or I can give you some pointers. What level of commitment to losing weight are you at?
