Why do people ask if I took my medication today if they know I take antipsychotics at BED TIME! Obviously this is gotta be ulterior motives. Why wouldnt you ask if you if you took your meds YESTERDAY! It only logically makes sense. Guess I gotta start telling people I plan to take my meds tonight but they won’t be retroactive.

It always feels like someone asking this is being really condescending and rude. I hate being asked if I’ve taken my meds by people.
Except here. You guys get a pass because you aren’t (usually) being derogatory by asking.

My inlaws ask this to me alot or they tell me to go take an ativan. But I take meds four times a day.
People don’t know about schizophrenia. Even those who do know a lot don’t live it. I zone out to the silly things people say and they are close friends and family. It’s not being rude. It’s just they have no real idea about things I deal with daily!
I do my best to try to educate them but even then I don’t get too worried about it! It is what it is!
im not taking asvmuch medication as i ought to be, and it shows. my mind has become so twisted and perverse its leading me on a downward spiral. not to mention my memory is now nonexistant as a result of dropping meds. these are powerful meds, if they help they really really help. always take your meds.
I take all my meds very faithfully, three times a day.
I damn sure did take my meds.im likely to end up in a ward with an oompa loompa and a trashcan window fight person if i dont take them.
You’d think they’d make it more convenient. Like my parents are diabetic and they take multiple 3 times a day. Plus it adds chance of error. I like bedtime… Can take me all day to Remember and as long as I do take it doesn’t matter if I’m a couple hours early.
My wife asks me every night. People who ask you are the ones that care.
