If you're thinking about

Not taking your meds everyday you should take them. I just made a mistake not taking them for a day and a half. I am feeling the consequences.

I agree, it’s best to take your meds as directed.

You’re right @roxanna Every time I stopped taking my meds I had to go back to the psych ward. Happened for three years in a row until I asked to switch to an injection. Was briefly in the psych ward after getting on the injection so they could increase my dose in 2019 and I haven’t been in the psych ward since then.

I was trying to get rid of side effects and stopped taking my morning dose for two days - I had asked for my meds to be raised and then I was given a morning dose. Well, big mistake not to take it. The morning dose stops some schizophrenia symptoms, along with stopping anxiety and panicking. The one voice I heard got stronger.

By the way, my doctor did lower my evening dose and I think it might be alleviating two side effects.

I’m going to ask my healthcare team for 50 mg extra because I feel my best on 600 mg Seroquel.
