Did you have a comfort object as a child?

Ps. I did not anthropomorphize my blanket. But I did run the fringe over my nose until I fell asleep.

When I was little, China was one of the poorest countries in this world. So like most of the kids in China I had no dolls in my childhood. But things got improved later and my son received a stuffed teddy bear from me as the New Year’s present. He loved it. Now my son has grown into an adult and don’t sleep with the teddy bear any more. I washed it and keep it in case one day in the future my son wants to see his old teddy bear again.

I had a red blanket but I gave it to my favourite neighbors dog I had before I left her and it was put in a cupboard unfortunately and not loved anymore by them anyway.they didn’t understand how much it meant to me.
It comforted me.i loved it.

IDK maybe the original Gameboy? I played Tetris and Mario a lot on it.

Didn’t really have a blanket or stuffed animal that I attached to for more than a year or two. My youngest brother had a few little stuffed dogs and he and I used to make them talk when he was really young, it was fun.

My brother had one of those too. I wonder if it was the same kind.

It’s nice to see you around again @Montezuma.

I also had a stuffed animal lamb!!!

She was called ā€œcatā€ though, because as a toddler i though she was a cat. She slept in my bed and i dragged her around.

Son has a whole bunch of stuffed animals, and one favorite. When younger he told me he loves that one most of the whole family, more than me and his best friend together. :-p

I had a teddybear but it got lost with all the moving from Australia to Germany in my first 5 years of my life. I still can picture it in my mind. I got another bear but it wasn’t the same.

Hey Agent!

How have you been my fellow night owl?

But I’m doing good these days. I was having some rather clear and distinct voices last night, but I just ignored them. Other than that, things are going really well.

I’m doing great! I hit level 60 on World of Warcraft Classic and joined a raiding guild, so I have to show up dutifully for a 4 and a half hour shift twice a week. If I don’t show up I lose my spot and worse, my points!

I got a really good item called Core Hound Tooth with two weeks’ worth of points. Now I’m saving all my points for a dagger called Perdition’s Blade… it’s the best in the game! My rogue would be really powerful if I can get it. Just gotta put in my time and bid for it when the time comes.

It’s the closest thing to a job I’ve had in a long time… I kind of dread it the night before, but the one day I sat out I regretted it and missed my pals. I raid Sunday and Wednesday nights with my team, Onyxia and Molten Core part 1 on Wed, Molten Core part 2 on Sun. I never raided on this game back when it originally released in 2004, was too antisocial.

How are the cameras? Did you take any good photos? :open_mouth:

Right on big dude!

It sounds like you’re occupying your time with some cool and positive things.

Oh, I’m still sitting on about ten rolls of super eight film. That will give me about 33 minutes worth of screen time.

I’m thinking about writing a short screen play, or visual art kinda experimental thing based off a short horror story and filming that.

Me too I lost my soft toy when I moved  from my hometown to another country. It took me a few days to get over it. Even now I’m upset bout it

That sounds great! Maybe start with a short story and work it into something visual. A little independent film

The things i treasured most were a green metal night light, had a revolving hemispherical turning 360 to blot out most of the light which is the coolest thing ever.
i used to hug it at night. I liked how the metal got warm, really responsive to me hugging it.
next to it i would put a little crystal salt pot which was also nice to hold
