Did anyone switch to vaping and then give up vaping?

How difficult was it to quit vaping ?

Vaping never drawed me in, just gave up on it

Yeah I quit vaping pretty easy a couple months ago.

I switched to vaping 0% so maybe a little different than most, but I gave it up pretty easily. I still have it for bad craving days or when I’m really anxious.

I probably wouldn’t be able to quit vaping. I tried Logic when they were big… now I’m hearing about Juul. I tried it but still wanted a real cig and went back. There’s hope for me regarding Wellbutrin though. I do want to quit.

Nicotine is stronger than my “love of money”(Which I did pay a price for…), it’s stronger than the love of my parents, and siblings. I’ve now smoked on and off (but mostly on) for 20 years. It’s sad how the mentally ill flock to it.

I did. I smoked less and less until I was only having a few puffs a day and then I just stopped. I came up with a plan. I started by seeing how many times a day I puffed and did it a couple times less each week until I only did like 4 times a day and then I simply stopped. There were no withdrawals that way and that made it easier

That’s a great idea. I like the idea of “tapering off” vaping.

Interesting… I could never do it that way. I’ve had the most luck with going cold turkey.

Started with cigarettes, switch to vaping and am bringing my nicotine level down to 0mg. Hope I can do it

Cold turkey was too hard for me. I’d get high anxiety and really shaky and irritable.

My medical doctor mentioned it to me once and the way he said it convinced me that’s what he believes is the best approach. Weening off it, would be tortuous for me. I salute you either way!

I wish I could. I did manage to lower my nicotine to 0mg but now I’m back to 3mg. No such luck. I’m just not ready but when that day comes I will quit it.

I took up vaping out of curiosity over a quarter century after quitting smoking. Was using nicotine ejuice. I quit very easily some months back when the respiratory issues started (not caused by the vaping). No withdrawal worth mentioning, really.

I more or less quit smoking using a JUUL. I don’t think I’d be able to give that up, though. I use it constantly.

Don’t need to, just happened to enjoy it and missed it.

Please don’t push religion. It’s offensive.

Is it pleasant? Did you smoke before vaping?

I don’t smoke but I wanna try vaping but I’ve read that vaping is only for people who want to quit smoking.

I smoke AND I vape. But, i’ve reduced a number of cigarettes. To me, vaping smells better than cigarettes. Cigarettes smell like piss. In vape, you can change to various kinds of eliquids and gain access to different and nice flavours. I wouldn’t say you should vape if you plan to quit smoking because non-smokers can vape as well. The only caveat is that there is nicotine in most flavours. However, there ARE 0mg nicotine vape eliquid available, just uncommon.
