That’s why they call them intrusive thoughts. Because it’s like there not your thoughts. I would just blame it on the sz. I get some pretty strange toughts , don’t take any of them seriously as they are unwanted.

Maybe you should try not to get hung up on labels? It’s fine to be attracted to men sometimes. It’s up to you how you define, or don’t define, your sexuality.

I took the inventory and am right in the middle, so I guess bi? Which I knew already. BTW, I figured out that gay porn is a lot of bad acting – except for one I saw.
I think it’s how you choose if you’re gay or straight

Sexual fluidity is one thing, formalname, but saying you can choose your sexuality is a completely backward way of thinking. We can’t choose our sexual feelings. The science is clear on this. We can choose to suppress sexual feelings, but that is far from healthy. Conversion therapy kills more than it changes. Please don’t propagate this false and dangerous view on sexuality.

Okay but what about transgender? Would you deny them?
Trans folks don’t identify with the gender they were assigned at birth, and gender dysphoria can cause severe depression and anxiety. People need to be able to express themselves and be recognised for who they are. Especially when it’s a life or death situation. Imho it’s a problem with society’s strict enforcement of binary gender roles.

Gender is different from sexuality. Changing your gender isn’t the same thing as changing your sexuality.

Also trans people aren’t changing their gender. They are changing the way others perceive their gender. Sometimes that includes surgery, but not always.

The gay stuff had been something I was suppressing. I find now that I can draw human figures again as I used to in my youth. I can do this without delusions of eternal punishment, too. There is a strong gay impulse in me that needs expression somewhere, and drawing I think is a good way. Thanks for your input.

The difference is in the power dynamics involved, and the capacity for consent. Pedophilia is inherently exploitative.
