But is British tea which isn’t like herbal tea.

How do you take your tea? I have mine with milk. :milk_glass:

Yeah I take mine strong and with milk. No sugar.

Do a lot of Americans take tea with milk? I always picture them drinking herbal tea no milk.

Tea with milk isn’t super popular here. I got turned to it after I needed sleepytime tea one night when a boyfriend made it for me. It was so comforting.

I love bubble tea! It’s very delicious. I usually get Thai bubble tea with tapioca pearls.

I would have to head into the city to get bubble tea. Isn’t a big thing where I live.

I like honey with tea. Be neat to try milk.

I will try honey in my tea. Sounds nice!

i stopped drinking coffee reguarly a couple of weeks ago. only drank 1 cup since then, but not in the morning. i got over it quicker than i thought. I mainly did it cause sometimes my blood pressure jumps up high, and it might not even be the coffee but im testing things out also.

Did you get any withdrawal headaches?

suprisingly no, but i never was really “addicted” i think…i know some people have like 5 cups a day or so everyday. i had 3 the most a day. it just sorta sucks the next morning when u dont have it, you feel like you dont really wake up. I know i will drink it again, but very specific times. Thought i think i had sorta a “reaction” when i drank the coffee again that one time. i actually felt my heart rate increase a bit, which never happened before. I wonder how it would be a month with no coffee at all.

Yeah coffee is pretty pharmacological. It has effects on the body.

Good choice !

Green tea is awesome, there’s about 50mg of L Theanine and 30mg of caffeine in it.

Yeah, pretty smart thinking. Coffee effects everyone differently. For me it gets me pretty “buzzed” and paranoid sometimes.

Tea is much more relaxing.

I switched from coffee to tea a few weeks ago. Proper British tea, but I drink it black. I tried giving up all caffeine, but I would get too exhausted by 3 pm.

I also love tea, I am not a fan of coffee.

I think I need to give up coffee, it’s interfering with my iron supplement absorption.

Is there much of a difference other than one stains your teeth?

Black tea pretty much has the same caffeine amount as a cup of coffee. I do enjoy tea though, it is so soothing. If I don’t want to pay for Starbucks or want to stay at home I always make tea because I can’t make good coffee lol. Always tastes nasty no matter how I try to spice it up :disappointed:
