Dealing with amotivation, ocd and executive functioning difficulties on fluvoxamine

i recently added on fluvoxamine in the hopes that it would improve my primary negative symptoms as well as mitigate some of the intense ocd obsessions i have been having. i have only been on it for a week at 100mg and am currently getting severe amotivation as well as executive functioning difficulties. basically i find it impossible to get stuff done and to think in an organized fashion. on top of this i am having flu-like symptoms which make it hard for me to get out of bed as i have chills and dizziness and so on.

i’ve heard that there is an interaction between fluvoxamine and aripiprazole which i am currently on at 30mg. i cut my aripirazole dose down to 25 milligrams to try and avoid symptoms of elevated aripiprazole levels in my system. i didn’t do this with my pdoc’s blessing unfortunately but figured i could make the change myself as it is a small reduction.

how long until i begin to feel present and possibly ocd free again on fluvoxamine? i am currently unable to do anything and sleep most of the day, but feel like the obsessiveness and social anxiety would be more debilitating in the next couple of weeks.

university begins on the 5th and i have to be ready to attend classes every day of that week. should i back ff the luvox? should i add on trintellix for the executive functioning difficulties? finally, how long until i begin to feel some benefit from the luvox.?

i would like to find peace but currenty feelin really ■■■■■■ up for some reason
maybe its the luvox, i read that it can damage your liver when taken with aripiprazole

The flu like symptoms are concerning. If you think there’s a possible interaction, you should call your pdoc. Leave them a message. It could be serious. It could be no biggie. But why take the chance?

I am on Fluvoxamine at the moment, it is very at stopping the obsessive thoughts in my head, but it has made my negative symptoms much worse.
Paroxetine with Trazodone is my favourite medication but I am wide awake at 6am and it makes the day seems very long as I don’t have much to do, whereas on Fluvoxamine I sleep all morning.
