Is anyone taking, or has anyone taken, fluvoxamine/ Luvox for OCD? If so, how well has it worked for you? I am having major issues that are driving me away from my family. I need help, and my pdoc suggested it. I’d love some feedback.
I haven’t taken fluvox but I have had other ssri’s in the past and find that they are affective for treating some of my OCD tendencies. I feel less like my thoughts are less repetitive and it’s easier to not do strange behaviors like messing with the eggs and light switches. It’s just easier to let things go in general and move on to the next thing. Good luck I think you’ll notice a difference.

Fluvoxamine works as well for OCD as the other ssri antidepressants, but it is less effective for depression.
It can make people feel tired which can be a good or bad thing.
Some people find a lower dose of 50mg can be sufficient for annoying obsessive thoughts.
