Nowhere in the DSM does the symptom list for schizophrenia include what you just did.
But that’s cool, potato potaaato.

Haha, you are a @anon4362788 though, so it’s only temporary
@yinyang, you come across as a sh*t stirrer. That’s someone who makes inflammatory comments to rile people up. You also seem very judgmental. Please try to say things that support others.
@LilyoftheValley What did I say?
It’s been in this thread and others of yours. I don’t feel like quoting everything. Please just try to think before you speak/write. Ask yourself if it helps the other person to hear that. If it doesn’t, just let it go
@LilyoftheValley Well, I am who I am. Personality, behavior and way of thought are in my Chinese brain & blood.
How very 1984 of you.
I’m glad one of us does!
One of the problems I’ve encountered with the whole “When/if to disclose your MI”, is when a woman asks what I do for work or something like that. It usually comes up pretty quickly in a new conversation. What is a good answer to that question? I don’t feel like lying or anything
I think I’m mostly of German descent. But I don’t think I’m much different than my Irish, African, Mexican, or (Place nation of origin here) brothers and sisters. These things are mostly superficial, IMO.
I have advice for the men out there. Don’t be afraid to show your sensitive side if that is in your nature. It can be very refreshing and attractive to some women.
Let’s simplify this entire conversation:
That’s it. That’s your dating advice. Do that and everything works out.
There are cultural differences of course, but I don’t think it has much to do with “blood”. Lots of people melt into a pot in many countries.
@Bowens Language barrier, cultural differences, various personalities, anatomical variations in aesthetics distinguish the multitude of racial groups you have described.
Glad I work and the question can be answered.
read my post above to see the point I was trying to make. I wasnt talking about culture, but individual race doesnt make that much difference in my opinion. A person of chinese descent raised in a german American family might hold similar views to there influences and that situation.
The same goes for a german raised by a chinese family in China.
I dont think genetics or “blood” are as big of a factor as some people make them out to be. People are people. I think we are mostly the same at our core.
If you don’t have a victim mentality about your SZ but can show how to take ownership of it, people might just admire you for it instead of pity you for it. I think it will be difficult to create attraction to you in someone who pities you.
@Bowens When thinking as a group there will be extreme differences in collaborating and cooperating on the same team. A group of 100 Chinese government officials will think and communicate differently than a group of 100 African Union government officials. The same can be said of 100 European Union officials contrasting with Americans.
You could say you’re currently on long term sick leave?
